I’ve and Electric Meat Grinder and when i was using it it switched off and shot fire out from under it?
what could be wrong did something just short out?
I’d first look for loose wiring anywhere a wire is connected make sure its tight,screws etc.Check your main switch,alot of times if they go or are going bad youll see burnt area.or smell it to bcuz you can smell it also.electrical burning has its own unique smell.I doubt it would be motor related.follow wires from switch look for burnt areas,loose wires or where wires go thru or around casting{look for bare wire}.If you still cant find problem maybe next time put type of slicer you know hobart model # ?? good luck and remember…UNPLUG your electric before poking around…
