A little rust in your food won’t kill you, right?
I bought a brand new meat grinder and just a couple hours after washing the blade and plate, I found them already rusted! I now know that I’m supposed to dry them with a bow-dryer and then apply oil or crisco to seal out any moisture, but my question is…will the bit of rust do anyone harm the next time I use the grinder and it rubs off onto the meat??
A little rust doesn’t hurt, we drink much more in tap water. However, don’t lick anything with rust on it.
